Multi-wall paper bags

Open mouth, pasted (BACL)

The open mouth pasted bags can have one to four plies and are indicated for the packing and transport of food products, animal food, chemicals, minerals and plastic products. Their bottom is pasted in hexagonal format, which can be reinforced with an extra sheet (patch), and its function is to provide higher resistance to stress and eliminate leakage through the seams. The post-filling closing system adopted by the customer can be done by sewing or pasting. When leak proof is needed, the second option is more indicated. In this case, the bags can be manufactured with stepped mouth and application of hot-melt adhesive. However, the customer shall have a device to reactivate the adhesive and, when there is plastic film coupled, it shall be able to carry its sealing out. There are good options on the market for these systems supply. Characteristics: – It can be manufactured with one to four paper plies – Different types of barriers can be added – Flexographic printing in up to six colors – Easy-open system (optional) – Stepped mouth with hot-melt applied (optional) – With or without reinforcement at the bottom (patch) – Good self-sustentation after filling (they remain standing easily) – Possibility for total separation between paper and plastic (in case of loose film or lamination) – The mouth and the bottom can be sealed in order to guarantee total leak proof and avoid contaminations and exchange of gases, vapor and smell with the external environment – Excellent palletization

Open mouth, sewn (BACS)

The open mouth sewn bags can contain one to four plies and are indicated for the packing and transport of food products, animal food, seeds and charcoal. The bottom is sewn with up to three threads, two with the function to close and one, thicker, called “reinforcement thread”, with the function to eliminate leakage in case the product filled is too fine. The usual post-filling closing system adopted by the customer is sewing. Characteristics: – It can be manufactured with one to four paper plies – Different types of barriers can be added – Flexographic printing in up to six colors – Easy-open system (optional) – Compatible with simpler and more accessible bagging systems – Good palletization – Possibility for total separation between paper and plastic (in case of lamination)

Valve, pasted (VACL)

The valve glued bags can contain one to four plies and are indicated for the packing and transport of cement, lime, mortar, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and plastic products, seeds and minerals. Both bottoms format is hexagonal, and they can be reinforced with an extra paper sheet (patch), which has the function to provide higher resistance to stress and eliminate leakage through the borders. There is always an opening on one of the extremities, which is called a valve, which the filling is carried out through on stationary or rotating bagging machines. The bags can be manually applied to the filling spout of the bagging machine or by means of high speed automatic systems (robots). The valve opening is always reinforced with one or two extra paper patches called “valve reinforcement”. Depending on the application system, the bagged product and the need of tightness, one specific type of reinforcement is indicated among 18 alternatives. They can be provided since simple solutions with only one paper sheet with not bending, till the most sophisticated with more than one paper sheet, several bending parts and applied plastic film. Characteristics: – It can be manufactured with one to four paper plies – Different types of barriers can be added – Flexographic printing in up to six colors – Easy-open system (optional) – Different types of valve reinforcement – Micro-perforations – With or without bottom patches – Indicated for high productivity bagging systems – No need of closing systems – The valve can be sealed by means of a sealing rod or by ultrasound, when leak proof is needed (requires valve reinforcement with applied plastic) – Possibility for total separation between paper and plastic (in case of lamination) – Indicated for use on automatic palletizing machines

Pinch Bottom (PBDS)

The pinch bottom bags can contain one to four plies and are indicated for packing and transport of food, pharmaceutical, chemical products and animal food. The post-filling closing system adopted by the customer can be done by sewing or pasting. When leak proof is needed, the second option is more indicated, and in this case, the bags can be manufactured with stepped mouth and application of hot-melt adhesive.
