This ensures we deliver solutions that effectively meet both needs and expectations,” explains Fontanella.

Paper packaging is the preferred choice by consumers

In addition to providing security and resistance, paper and corrugated cardboard packaging appeals to many consumers for its practicality, lightness, and, most importantly, its sustainability.

The Trend Tracker 2023 survey, conducted by Two Sides at the end of 2023, revealed that paper packaging is the preferred choice among consumers in more than 16 countries, including Brazil. Of the 15 environmental, visual, and physical factors analyzed, paper packaging ranked highest in 10 categories, outperforming glass (4), metal (1), and plastic (0).

From a commercial perspective, the benefits of a well-executed project are also evident in sales. According to Fabiano Serafini, Trombini’s sales manager in Rio Grande do Sul, innovation is one of the many factors that impact the purchasing decision, and not just the production of packaging. “In an increasingly competitive market, the key to standing out lies in innovation and being different.
