Last week, students involved in the Connecting Future project, supported by Trombini, took part in an enriching discussion at our Curitiba unit.
Trombini’s Information Technology Coordinator, Marcelo Etges, shared insights on hard skills, soft skills, and values essential for IT professionals aiming to secure a strong position in the job market.
In addition, team members Washington Araújo, Pedro Kmiecik, and Lara Franceschini, all from Trombini’s IT department, shared their academic and professional journeys while offering valuable tips for building a successful career in the field.
“The reception was excellent, and the students showed great interest in the topics presented. This was especially evident during the visit to the bags factory, where they had the opportunity to see firsthand the IT and automation technologies applied to industrial processes. I’d also like to highlight their visit to the Curitiba Datacenter, where they gained deeper insights into the infrastructure that supports the company’s IT operations,” says Etges.
The coordinator emphasized that students recognized technology as a tool for implementing solutions in the professional contexts they will encounter in the future—whether in small businesses, commerce, industry, or society at large. According to Etges, “They discovered that IT is much more than just technology; it’s about people, relationships, teamwork, skills, and behavioral values—qualities that define good professionals in today’s job market.”
Connecting Future
