Trombini is the big winner of the 5S Best Practices Award – Southern Region
The company donated 21,000 bottles of mineral water (500 ml), over 2,300 bedding items, more than 500 cleaning and personal hygiene products, and over 80 appliances, including stoves and refrigerators.
In addition to mobilizing employees and communities at its manufacturing units in Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, the company made a significant contribution to providing comfort and support to hundreds of people in need.
Trombini’s product development team designed corrugated cardboard beds, which were produced and destined for shelters and institutions mapped by the Farroupilha (RS) unit. Each bed came complete with mattresses and bedding.
Additionally, Trombini has been supporting families of recyclable material collectors in the cities of Canoas and São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, through a project that is currently underway.
Corporately, professionals from the supply department spared no effort in assisting the Rio Grande do Sul units in Canela and Farroupilha.
Through the Logistics department, the company also took responsibility for and covered all transportation costs for the collected donations, ensuring they reached their destinations.
