In 1941, at just 22 years old and with a lot of courage, our founder, Mirtillo Trombini, born in the city of Morretes, left his job determined to open his own company in the paper packaging sector. This is how Trombini Packaging Company was born.

In 1945, Mirtillo joined his two brothers, Sinibaldo and Geraldo, and started the business expansion. By the end of the 1940s, six teenage cousins, Geraldo’s , Sinibaldo’s and Mirtillo’s children, had begun to get involved in the business. With the acquisition of innovative equipment, the three brothers formed an industrial group in Curitiba (PR). From there, they gained capital to grow even further and expand through state borders.

The opening of factories in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul made us one of the largest companies in the sector in Brazil. Our corrugated cardboard plant in Fraiburgo (SC) is one of the most modern in Latin America. Years went by, and we continued to invest in technology, creating talents and expanding our business.

Over the years, we have remained one of the largest recycling companies in the manufacture of paper and producers of corrugated cardboard boxes and multilayer paper bags in Brazil. Our manufacturing units in Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul cover the demands of the entire national territory with quality, competitiveness and relevance. In addition, we export to several countries. We combine expertise and innovation to deliver the best solutions for our customers.
